So, it's been quite a while since I last blogged.
Okay, maybe not that long. I've still been writing things, just not on here.
I've been so busy with university that I've neglected my blogging duties. My first semester of uni was one of the most challenging things I've ever done, but I'm still hanging in there.
Just so you guys know, I'm still planning on releasing another short story soon. I'm currently having some technical difficulties with it, but I'm trying to fix that. As soon as it's 100% done, I'll put it out there over the course of four weeks.
To catch you up with what I've been up to I thought that I'd just show you a few books, TV shows and songs I've been enjoying while I've been away.
Reading Sinner was like going back to The Wolves of Mercy Falls series in the strangest way. Don't get me wrong, I loved Sinner. It was complicated and messy, all to the tune of Cole's hectic beat, but it was different in every way from The Wolves of Mercy Falls series. I think the fans of the original series will enjoy this book.
It took me a long time to read this book. Most of the time I wanted to throw it out the window.
It's one of those books that is a struggle to read, but in a good way. It gave me massive feels and in the end it definitely paid off. If you haven't read the Chaos Walking Series, and you enjoy dystopia, sci-fi or fantasy books, then you should give this one a go.
This is one of the books I had to read for uni. It's an old book, but it's a good read. I would not read it again soon as it features a main character with depression.
After having to endure seasons of sort of mediocre episodes, the show threw us the last episode of this season and damn, that stung. I may or may not have cried during... most of the last episode.
Speaking of crying... I am addicted to this show. It makes you laugh and cry, all within the space of ten minutes. If you like Adventure Time, Gravity Falls or even Over The Garden Wall, you'll enjoy this show. Just know that this show gives all the feels.
This season was a mess. I have a lot of feelings about it, but I'll present you with these gifs instead:
Below you'll find a few songs I've been listening to lately. I'm leaving out all of the Steven Universe songs I (regularly) listen to, but feel free to check out this playlist.
